All of the files types Windows 10 supports will be presented to you with their associated applications on the right-hand side. All files without apps to handle them will show up a grey “+” icon each.

Step 5: you are to navigate through the list and find the file type appropriate for you to use as an association. Click the application or “+” icon to its right.

Step 6: Select your app of choice from the appeared list and click its corresponding icon.
